Even Cats Need Cat Eye Reading Glasses

cat eye reading glassesMy cat is 7 years old. Although that may not seem that old, in cat years that is equal to about our middle age. So what happens to most of us during middle age? Our eyes deteriorate and we can't really see as well as we used to. Reading becomes a struggle and we avoid the obvious truth: we need eyeglasses to read!

So yesterday I noticed my cat was trying to read "The Great Gatsby" and she was straining her eyes to see the print. I took her to Lenscrafters to get her checked, but I was only met with blank stares and suggestions that I should leave. After browsing the yellow pages I found a doctor in North Phoenix behind a scrap yard that helped me pick out a marvelous pair of cat eye reading glasses!

My cat has been blasting through books left and right now! She just finished "The Art of War" in record time (it was her fifth time reading it) and she couldn't be happier! Not only is she enjoying the practical benefits of these glasses, but she's also been getting some extra attention from the neighbor's cat. Too bad for him he's neutered.
